If you're her significant other, she'd probably love some roses or a small stuffed animal. If not, jewelry is always fun. I don't know. I'm seventeen, too, but I don't have everything so there are a lot more things I'd be interested in. Maybe you could talk to her mom or dad to get some ideas about what she's asked for.

awww.. thats really sweet. Get her something thoughtful, even if it doesn't cost alot of money. Pay attention to what she says she likes, or is doing or wants to do in the near future and get her something she can use for it...If she is excited about going skiing this winter, get her a cute ski hat? Lame, I know, sorry I don't have any good examples, but maybe there is a concert she has been wanting to go to? or a band she likes?

take her to a rated R movie make sure its a movie theatre that checks ID....she will be supoer happy to be old enough....oh and give her a card and some sappy stuff or how about you make the card/gift thats always cute and you cant really go out and buy that now can you?

BUT, let's play the game. She has EVERYTHING material.
Take her to a Movie, take her to Dinner, bring her flowers. List goes on and on. Think about it!!

girls love hand-made stuff. like maybe you're good at writing songs or poems, or play her a song. make a photo album of your memories together, something that makes it seem like you put a lot of work and thought into it :)
