If prisons were to form a partnership with industry, everyone would benefit: The prisons, the inmates, and the industrial businesses. Right now, when a person's sentence is over he is likely to be released to the street with less than he came in with: little or no money, no job, and a record plus a big gap in employment history which together make getting a job almost impossible. This makes recidivism more likely. Also he may be mentally scarred by some horrific prison experiences. If businesses were able to come into prisons and train inmates to do skilled labor, any inmate who wanted a job while in prison could get one. In your typical prison, only a fraction of the inmates who request work are actually given a job, because the only jobs available are in the kitchen or laundry or other jobs related to running the facility. The inmates could then work for a fraction of the wage a skilled laborer would be paid on the outside. But, he would have no expenses except a little comissary, so it could all go into his account for use upon release. When he was released, he would have money to live for awhile, plus a marketable skill he could use to seek employment. He may have had a less traumatic incarceration experience, because the majority of inmates in the facility will have been busy and employed not idle, which reduces all sorts of bad behavior. The business employing the inmates could pay a small wage to the inmate and something to cover the Prison's costs in running the program, and they would still profit greatly from the use of inmate labor. The prison would become a place where people worked toward re-entering society, instead of just a place to hold them temporarily between crime sprees.

Good question...
There is something wrong where in some states like CA. It costs nearly 30,000 a year to care, feed, house, provide medical, etc. for an inmate in a state prison( if its a maxi prison it is higher). Where they can watch TV, get a law degree, have all their medical issues taken care of, etc. The thing that is wrong is that a lot of people work very hard all year and don't even make 30,000 a year. Yes, we need reform, along with welfare fraud reform, etc. I still think we should build a prison on the moon and send all the violent criminals including sex offenders there with a one way ticket only. Sounds harsh, but our system has become way to easy on prisoners. Prison should be a place where if someone spends time there once, they never want to go back. The recidivism rate in some states is as high as 66%. What are these criminals thinking?????

First of all, prison has no reform!! sure there were certain vocational programs available to inmates at one time but i think it was Pete Wilson that put a stop to that in 1996 (don't quote me on the date) he is also responsible for taking away the pay numbers that inmates used to get in order to buy such things as hygiene products ans supplemental food. he initiated a program that allowed us to get good time off if we worked ,without pay of coarse!! he took our weights away, which was our only form of release as well as several other conviences that made life a little easier.as for reform; whats left? the only outside event in the California system is church on Sunday. now if you can accept the lord into your heart then you have a chance at reform. fortunately i was able to go that route and still have no regrets. Ive been reformed through Jesus Christ not prison!!

There is no reform of sex offenders. Lock them up and keep them in prision. If you have sex with a child, you go away for 25 to life for the first offense. No more of this probation for teachers who have sex with their students. Wait, that only happens to female teachers.

commence your end with "consequently" or "In end" and easily remind the reader of your preferable factors, and then end it with a quote or would desire to be the rest it is thrilling. undergo in recommendations, the perception is the wonderful element your coach will study so it is going to be ok.
