Well if that is what you feel about your Buddy you can`t be much of one? To write a speech is straight forward & if you get stuck go to your local library for help the books there will point you in the right direction,try & make the effort what goes around comes around.

You can make one up. It's easy. Just think of something funny/special/cute from your relationship with the groom, and talk about that. Everyone will be interested in how you know him. Then say you're sure he'll be very happy with _______. Congratulate them and wish them many happy years together.
No one expects anything too deep. Just go with what feels right.

YOU CANT. You are the WORST bestman ever! You have to WRITE the speech yourself. You are suppose to open with 1) how you know the bestman and couple. 2) and then tell a little funny story about him. then end 3) with stuff about how she is the best thing to come into his life and raise your glasses everyone and say congratulations and have a great life together, etc! DUH any moron can do that

Why dont you just do the genuine thing and write something special yourself? Only you know this man and only you can write something thats going to mean everything to them.
