I think the Freedom of Religion protects my son's right to go to a public school and not be taught any religious beliefs in science class.

Intelligent design is a religious belief. The idea of a creator is a religious belief.

Period. The end.

*pulls up kneesocks and expands bubblegum balloon in yer face*

I love ba-sgettios, and I might just be turning into a fool for this "Christ nonsense," too.

Did you have Haeckel's drawings in your college textbooks? Or did you go to one of them high class insteetutions that ripped them out as SOON as they were exposed as fraudulent?

*picks nose*

Ya, ya, evolution is still true, that doesn't prove anything, ya say, you read it in Wikipedia, I'll bet. Well, MISTER phd : The fake drawings are still in *MY* textbook. I don't want YOUR kind writing my textbooks anymore. I'd ALMOST RATHER have Creationists picking out my science textbooks--at least those folks BELIEVE the things they're teaching me are true--including the "Christ nonsense" they gets away telling us about during the Christmas and Easter parties they're always signing up to bring cookies to (Christian stay-at-home moms with all that extra time on their hands to do the things MRS phd's don't have time for, doncha know.)

Haeckel KNEW the pictures he was publishing were fakes.

I'm just a little kid and a lot of my friends at school aren't sure whether this "Christ nonsense" is any more nonsensical than your atheism. But I'll tell you what, MISTER phd:

I can tolerate mistake-makers. I cannot ABIDE liars.

PS--Come check out my latest question about Haeckel. If it makes you feel any better about the balance of deletions in YA for Evolutionist Creationists questioners, I just had the same question deleted last night---because the question mark wouldn't fit on the question line.

If you're so offended, why do you spend so much time battling something you don't even believe in?

Isn't that a little like swinging at thin air?

Or is it possible your heart tells you something a little different than your head, and you're just trying to convince yourself so your heart will shut up? I don't believe in atheists, so I think it's the latter....

Good luck in your secret search for the truth! :-)

When a group gets to be too large of a majority, they think they are the only ones who exist. While the minorities will tend to bond together because they are tired of being so grossly dominated. I dare to not be one of the herd!... ; )

Yes I am. I guess it is perfectly acceptable for certain populations to be narrow minded. However, I prefer not to be that delusional and live in the here and now and not for something that may be nothing more than stories and myths.

It never ceases to amaze me the depth of the ignorance that I see. How could a 'religion" that is supposedly about love, be so hateful and narrow minded? I just want to scream, hey asshole, wake up!

There is one censor at Answers that automatically removes anything critical of religion. I guess it's some fanatical, born-again type.

Only Satan would be offended by Christ, because he knows Christ he is defeated.
