what makes them all differnt? what would be best for some one wanting to help their nation become safe? would law enforcement be better then trying for the white house? tell me any thing you know please.

Check with your local university! All of those agencies, including the Secret Service, come to speak and recruit at most universities across the nation. Most of them have the same mission but by executive order are limited to certain areas of the law. If you want to work in the white house then I suggest Secret Service.

I would say the US Marshals and or AFOSI ( Air Force Office of Special Investigation) or Air Marshal.
