Rat poison causes internal bleeding.. He may still be suffering from the bleeding. He should see a vet as soon as you can, to get a shot for clotting his blood.

Did the vet also put ur dog on Vitamin K? It helps the blood to clot and couteract the rat poison.
Often the dog doesnt vomit up all the poison and some may have got into his system.
Has he got into the poison again?

In short , take him back to the vet ASAP

Call the vet, maybe its a side effect of the treatment or maybe they didn't get all the poison out, either they can tell you more than any of us can. That is unless their is a vet reading this.

get him back to the vet immediatley!!
my dog ate a whole packet of strong headache tablets once, we took him to the vet who made him vomit and gave him some antitoxin tablets he also had to go on a diet of chicken, rice and scrambled eggs for 3 days , something light to help settle his tummy, after that he was fine, after a week your dog should be better, hes not so please dont waste any time and get him to a vet now, it could save his life!!!

If you took him to the vet, the doctor should be able to tell you more than anyone here can. Sounds like you messed up big time. If this isn't a joke, you've probably killed your dog. If it IS a joke, you are one sick b*stard.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....................!!! WHY ARE YOU WAITING SO LONG TO TAKE YOUR DOG BACK TO THE VET?? POISON, ONCE IT ENTERS THE SYSTEM, CAN CAUSE ORGAN FAILURE, AND YES, IT CAN BE A SLOW AND PAINFUL DEATH!!! TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THE VET, IF YOU CANT AFFORD THE BILL, AT LEAST BE HUMANE AND HAVE HIM PUT DOWN, SO HE IS NOT SUFFERING ANYMORE!!
