i feel really depressed right now. i dont know why. im extremely emotionally unstable, ugly, and annoying, and well i hate myself.

but i didnt feel this way 2 minutes ago. it sort of hit me out of nowhere.

anyways. whats a quick way to make myself happy, release endorphins, ect??

caffeine pills and energy drinks dont work for me. i dont want to get high since i dont have any weed and dont want to inhale household products and take the risk of dieing.

suggestions?? please...anything.

Try St, John's Wort in the vitamin section of your grocery store. It is gentle and natural. No zombie effect. I used it when I was younger.

Go for a walk. While walking make a mental list of everything you are grateful for. Smile whether you feel like it or not (it triggers the part of the brain that is happy). Think of someone you can do something for. Plan it and do it. If all else fails, just go with it. Cry, whine, and eat a bunch of carbs. Then tell yourself tomorrow will be better. Think of something you really want to do in the morning before you go to bed. Wake up and do it. Good luck--sometimes it takes unhappiness to make us realize the happy times.

Take a minute to count your blessings. Even when things seem really bad someone ALWAYS has it worse off. When I'm down I force myself to look at all the wonderful things that I have and some days I have to stretch far....being thankful for the sink of dirty dishes because that means we ate well, thankful for the stack of laundry because we are clothed etc...I try to think of the worst possible situation that I can imagine and just be happy that I am not in it. You have the power to to turn your frown upside down!! When you think about cancer paitents who have constant pain and a mother who just lost their only child you realize that yeah your life may not be right where you want it to be just now but it could be so much worse! Hope that helps ~hugs~

You will know I have done this for many years after hearing my answer I listen to Wilson Phillips, "hold on for one more day", and I also listen to and dance to "I want your sex" 1980's therapy. I also play spider, free cell, or Suzuki. You could also take a shower, go for a walk, or buy something, most women do hair or buy shoes, I can't afford that so I get a bottle of nail polish. Of course cleaning something is good also, even if it is just one drawer something you accomplish lifts your mood, no matter what it will pass. Smile!

Use this computer for what it was intended...finding porn on the internet. Get off of this website and locate some nastiness, then rub one out. Eat a sandwich, and then go to bed. You'll feel much better tomorrow.

Working out is a good way to get the endorphins running. As is sexual release.

Write down on a piece of paper
"Today is a happy day
Everyday is a happy day
No time to waste being unhappy"
(Add a big smiley face at the bottom)

Put this in front of your computer or workstation.
