Indeed I do--one very psychic cat. In fact, I tried to set up a "blog" last night with an adorable drawing of her as my whatchamacallit & it took so long I gave up. Back to the question. Not strange at all! There are so many kinds of love. In my (biased) opinion, I don't think it's possible to find--in a human--the deep, unconditional love of your cat. Or in your case, cats. I'm so glad you treat them well--many questions about cats concern me because they indicate the cat's "companion" doesn't know the first thing about felines. You might find this interesting for lots of stuff: catage.com. I get a newsletter, & I've filled out a questionaire that tells me my kitty is 20 years younger than normal, (using people years), which can only be due to my "treating her well" & LOVING HER VERY MUCH. Keep it up!

Yes, I have one cat that I aquired from my son five years ago. He moved back home for a while with the cat and then when he moved out I refused him the cat to take because he was on the wild side and I was concerned about the cat. My cat is part of my family and I love her very much.

Yes, we have cats and children also. The cats are an excellent love object for children who are not old enough for dating. Preteen and teenage children who have pets are more likely to be cautious who they date, which is very good. Also, you are teaching your children to be kind to animals and how to nurture those smaller than them, which will also make them good parents later on.
Cats can be VERY affectionate, if they are raised this way. Some people just don't understand that.

I have two that are my children. Now that my oldest has gone off to college; I just adopted two more babies which are adorable. Each has their own place on the couch and in the bed. I adore the company and the love. BUT I am beginning to look loke the cat lady
in the neighborhood :-)

I have 3 cats. Frisky is 3 legged and 14 yrs old. I've had him since the day he was born. He was one of the barn cats baby.
Kiki is aprox. 2 years old. She came from Kiya Kiota. Its our local shelter.
Zoe is aprox. 5 months now. She also came from Kiya Kiota.
And I can't honestly imagine my life without cats. Sometimes they are so much better than dogs. Don't get me wrong I have 2 dogs too. But they don't bark at everything that moves lol!

My man and I can't have children so the cats are our children.
We had two sixteen year olds until this year and both passed away.
We have a 6 month old now we rescued from the streets and she will be giving us some newborns very very soon.
I'm glad you love your cats as we do too.

Used to have three cats
Shelbie Lynn
Cassie Jane
and Snap (cause her tail was broken in 3 places when she was dumped on my porch)
developed severe allergies to the babies and had to give them up. (after having them for 8 years)
Found a WONDERFUL person that took all three and they are happy and healthy and now are 14 years old.
yeah, you loves your cats, not strange at all. Enjoy them while they are here.

I have five cats and love them all dearly. Seems I spend most of my life taking care of them and am happy to do it. They are good company. I am hoping to get another cat soon.

lots of people dote over their pets. It's not strange. I'll save my kids from a burning building before I"ll save my cats; but other than that, I treat my pets well, too. My cats sleep with me in my bed. My kids aren't allowed to!
