The power of prayer has been proven to help people (the person the prayer is for)...in this case it seems that the good intentions of others or good energy helps the person in need. Do we discredit our ability to help others by not BELIEVING we can?

That's a good question. There is more power in the mind than many people acknowledge, and when we act collectively for the good, so very much is accomplished. Hate is such a powerful feeling, and when collectively held, is so very harmful. The concept that "god" is a creation of man is neither rediculous nor evil. It's actually a tribute to human potential. It's unfortunate that so many are too stuck in themselves to appreciate the positive things that could be accomplished. I'm not sold on miracles or magical happening, but shy of that, I do believe that we dismiss our ability to help others by believing we cannot.

Your primary question: "How do you know without a doubt that we (humanity as a whole) are not God?"

How?

By knowing that we did not make the universe;
by knowing Iwedid not dismiss our spirits on the Cross
by knowing we did not rise from the grave on the third day.

The second part:
The power of prayer has been experienced by many; but also remember the Sovereignty of God ... He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy.

And there MAY also be benefit to "good intentions" and "good energy"

The Spiritman is different from the Soul.
Yes, GOD Creates Everybody.
Yes, thinking Good thoughts (in your Soul) influences others, whether your Lost or Saved. We all send out Signals, Negative or Positive.
BUT the Spirit, the Real Person, once he,she enters the Earth by being Born, gets their Spiritual Connection Severed from Almighty GOD due to what Adam did in the Garden. We are all Born Lost in the Earth. Getting your Spirit Recreated by Accepting Jesus as your Saviour Restores that Connection. Religion cannot Recreate you, a Spirit.
Now, my only Proof is my own Life, and I cannot prove to you what happened when I got Saved.
Befor I was saved, I mentally Agreed that Jesus was who HE said HE was, in my Soul (Invisible Spiritual Super-Computer---some call the Sub Concious).I still was not Saved by Mentally Agreeing. But, when I got into Trouble and Called out on GOD for real, HE Recreated my Spirit and THEN I could Believe Jesus was Who HE said HE was.
A complete Transformation in my Thinking.
You Mentally Agree in your Soul.
You Believe in your Spirit.
Untill that Connection is Restored in your Spirit, you cannot BELIEVE Who Jesus said HE was.

If everybody Lost and Saved would think Good Thoughts all the time, this World would definitely be a better place to live.
Your Thoughts control your Actions.

That's actually a very creative thought. The Bible says it is prayer in the name of Jesus Christ that takes those prayers before God. I think that "prayer" in and of itself implies that there must be a power greater than we receiving those requests... therefore, it sort of discounts the human realization of those prayers. So, it wouldn't actually be prayer if human energy were actually granting those desires through good energy. Do you know of any answered "prayers" that were not directly requested of God? If so, you might be able to make a case. Nice thinking.

Being God's children then we are all a part of Him and strive to become one with Him. It's like when you have children then they are a part of you and you only want the best for them. God feels that way about us and that is why prayer works, it's His children asking Him for something and He gives us what we ask for. Alone I don't think we can help anyone, it's only when we turn to Him for help that we can help anyone or ourselves.

Suppose that a man says he is god, if you pray to him, does he have the authority to grant your prayer request. No b'coz he himself will have to pray to some one supreme. Only God who is omnipotent can answer your prayers.

Keep going with this line of inquiry, please. You are on the path you just haven't gone far enough yet. If you want you can message me but there is no need to, if you have come this far you can take it further. Find your divinity and you will see it in others as well.

Oh, don't go there. We are not God. Satan got into big trouble thinking he could equate himself with God...don't forget what happened to him. Whatever power there is of healing, yes, we access that power through prayer, but it is never of us...it is always of the one and only God....and our prayers should be directed through His son, Jesus Christ.

Have you ever met a perfect person? Add up the sins of ALL humanity, and it comes to a lot of short comings. God is perfect in every aspect.

Even though we carry a spark or facet of the creator within our selves called the soul . we cannot create something from nothing .
GOD created these sparks from its own body to become the Souls of ALL that WAS and WILL BE.That is how w are linked and accounts for what you said.
