Science has proving that the world flooded between 2500BC - 3000BC and God said man would live on the earth one day before he flooded it. One day to God is 1000 years, so Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden 3500 - 4000BC.
The way science proved the world flooded was from salt deposits found in the Great Pyramid, Seth Adams son built it before the flood to carry on their knowledge. The Egyptians emulated it after the flood by creating the other pyramids.
There were people here when God created the Garden of Eden because Cain was scared of the others when he was banished, who were the others.

"But by making them so closely related, he ensured that incest could be the only way to procreate." Incest wasn't a sin until the Mosaic law. Before then, there probably weren't enough harmful mutations in the human genetic pool for there to be a significant risk of deformities. "Why start off procreation in this way, when he could have easily created Eve from dirt as he did Adam?" He could have, I suppose, but He didn't. The bible doesn't give a definitive reason why, but perhaps it was a romantic gesture on God's part. Eve simply wasn't another lump of dirt, but had come from part of Adam, possibly to create a more secure and lasting bond between the two.

God bless you, The Bible says that Adam was created on the 6th day and Eve at the end of the 6th day. God's redemption work from that point onward was 6000 yrs, broken into 3 ages, the age of the Father, Jehovah , the age of the Son, Jesus, and the age of the Holy Spirit, Jesus' new name (Rev 3:12)
The 6th day creation represents 6000 yrs of redemption work. At the end of the 6000th yr, the last Adam and and last Eve will appear , as the Spirit and the Bride to give us the water of life. Rev 22:17/ 1Cor 15:45
As Adam represents the one to come, Rom 5:14, the one to come is Jesus. But since Romans was written AFTER Jesus ascended, this was about the second coming Jesus, who is the last Adam, the life giving spirit.
The last Adam and the last Eve are Elohim God. Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. The Bride is the wife of the Lamb/ Rev 21:9-10.
Gal 4:26 The Jerusalem that is above (Heaven) is free and she is our Mother.
----------------------------------------------
Jesus came 2000 yrs ago. Before that was 4000 yrs. We are now at the end of the 6000yr redemption period.
Before Adam and Eve there were already people on the earth. Cain said ,' Whoever finds me will kill me....' This shows the truth that others were on earth. Adam and Eve were the 1st people of God. From their time til now is 6000 yrs.

As per the Bible, from Adam to Moses birth 2220-2260 Year (with +20 incertitude) and at Ramses the 2nd era (1240-1304 BC) and as per Rabbinical Judaism 1271 BC.
So from Jesus to Adam we have 2220 + 1271 ~= 3490 years (maximum estimation 2260+ 1619 as per Ussher ) ~= 3880. Say Adam birth is from 3500-3900 years BC.
I calculated following each man from Adam to Moses using the Bible and I found 2220-2260 years from Adam to Moses.

Personally I do not believe a skull over 1.9 million years old or a mummie 75000 years old would still exist. Also I could never get it that people found it easier to believe in aliens than to believe in God.

#1 the Bible itself does not actually say. Various men who have spent years studying it came to those erroneous conclusions.
#2 If you'd studied the works of Zecharia Sitchen and learned that the Torah upon which the Bible as we know it is based is the edited survival of a variety of Sumerian works, then you would know the answer = around 35,000 to 40,000 BC.
BTW, according to those same works the 'gods' did not create the Earth, the sun, the planets, the universe, or anything like that,, they were just visitors from a planet whose eccentric orbit is about 3600 earth-years long, who have life-spans around 12 thousand earth-years, an amazing degree of technology including space travel, genetic engineering, and broadcast power as well as some broadcast power driven psychic abilities. The records of their interactions over thousands of years got edited into the Torah, which was then edited into Greek at the behest of King Ptolemy of Egypt, which was then edited into Latin, and then Spanish, and then English, and then 'corrected' by various Catholic gatherings.......very little verifyiable 'fact' remains.

Time, as we know it, did not begin until after the Fall of Adam and Eve. Nothing has been revealed to the exact specifics of the age of the earth because we don't know how long Adam tended the Garden until Eve came along and was tempted.
