Yes, I would, assuming the hydrogen comes from solar, wind, intermittent fusion, hydro or wind.
I agree that it's a waste of resources if the hydrogen comes from coal energy. My current electricity in my house comes from filthy bituminous coal mined and turned to electricity generated in Wyoming.
Dirty stuff.

Car, yes. House, no. Geothermal heating and cooling with solar power is the way of the future in home energy. Cars will run on hydrogen one day, but it is a long way off because right now H is too expensive to make. Once we start using sources of energy like Hoover Dam and Niagra Falls to produce hydrogen, we will be on track.

No. Hydrogen power cannot be recovered except through use of coal and other fossil fuels at this time. That is silly, to replace petroleum with even more pollution-producing coal.
I would power my house by solar and geothermal heating and cooling. My car would be gas/electric hybrid.

No, Would be pointless currently Just would waste energy since most hydrogen is currently made from natural gas at a poor conversion rate of energy return.
