I have a 3 month old Brittany Spaniel boy puppy.
When I walk him he usually goes on others lawns. I want him to be trained so he can be left in the house or garage and go to the restroom in the right spot. I would also like to teach him how to go to the restroom outside in the same spot. I've boughten the puppy "pads" that are scented and make the puppy go on the pad but my puppy always tears up the pad. HELP!

When you take your puppy out for walks always reward him with a treat and verbally praise him. This should reinforce good potty habits. Also, make sure to take the dog out for a walk three times a day and with the puppy pads when the puppy goes in the house put its nose in the mess and say NO and then take him to the puppy pad.

If you would not have time for her uncover her a different house even as she continues to be younger and anyone might desire her. Living in a crate is a tragic existence. If you rather desire to take a look at and find time for her then use dog pads after which positioned a urinated pad external so she will get the thought. Pads are well for later too like while you're out and are not able to get house to permit her out or at night time even as you're asleep. It is tough to maintain it for a man or woman and the identical is going for a puppy. That is how I had good fortune with my puppy.

I tried the puppy pads and my rottie did the same thing (tore it up). My fiend told me that her pup was trained to go on the pad and SHE tried moving the pad closer and closer outside to teach her that's where she is supposed to go but to this day the dog (1yr) will still be in the original spot of the puppy bad. I highly recommend you use a crate. I got one for my puppy and he has yet to have an accident inside of it, when you go out put him in their with treats and a safe toy and when you come back he will have to immediately so pick him up and carry him outside to the spot you want him to used every time. Reward and praise with treats when he goes. Good luck Don't be afraid of the crate!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aNNbS

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Puppies are not house trained until they are 5 months old. Their little bladders cannot hold it long until that time. Take you dog out often and he will not go inside the house. Dogs prefer to go outside and will not peepee indoors unless they just can't hold it any longer or are sick. Take him outside 4 or 5 time per day. If you work, take him outside when you wake up, just before you leave the house, right when you return from work, after dinner, and just before bedtime. My sweet doggy always went on the same rug. It was easy for me to throw it in the washer and I never scolded her. She is now nearly 10 years old and never goes in the house unless she is sick and I am not here to let her outside. Again, I never scold her. It is the dogs nature to prefer doing his business outside. When a dog does it indoors, its the owners fault and he should be whacked with a newspaper.

I tried positive and negative reinforcement.
each time he poos at the wrong spot, smack his bum and bring him and poo to the place you want him to poo..Do it diligently and he will understand from your body lang. When he does a poo correctly, reward him with smiles and praises, maybe hugs..!! My schnauzzer took about a month to get it right!!
