not alot of choice in a 37"
This is the best, no doubt!

1080P beauty everything else will downconvert to 720
If you can go 42 then I would go Pioneer Elite plasma a very small step down would be the regular pioneer 42 truly a beautiful TV

for a little less money, theTH37PX60 is awesome too!
