Let's assume God exists. What if he made this whole heaven and hell-thingy up to tease us? Or if he was just too lazy to build a heaven, but he told us, because he'd know it would make people believe in him much easier? What if our God is actually just a spoiled little kid from some sort of Daddy-God in another universe, who just wanted a little entertainment?

The following is quite an extreme viewpoint, but I think it is logical.

Assuming God exists, He as the creator of all things, the whole existence of this universe, us, our mind, our conscience, the laws, the truths, standard, etc. and truly everything. Then, by what standard to consider Him a liar? If He were just a spoiled little kid from some sort of Daddy-God (did you get the idea from the comics Superman??), then we are the creation of this spoiled little kids, sort of his toys. Then, lets happily be his toys :)

To make it clearer, since the assumption accepts the concept of a 'God', He couldn't be wrong and however lowly a standard we think He has, that is the standard and truth. Thus, logically, He cannot lie to us, but rather, we misunderstood Him.

How would you feel if you woke up one day and all the Christians were gone and a man claiming to be god said that everyone left on this planet would have to worship him or die. That everyone had to get a tattoo on their hand or head with his number. All of a sudden all the prophecy in the Bible is coming true. United States falls into the hands of the anti christ and our President is missing. You hear of two men who are preaching the Word of God. You want to hear them, but you are afraid. You can no longer buy food or gasoline without the number tattoo. United States has changed. An army of thugs guard everything. Half the people of the world are gone. People are starving and the water in the rivers and ocean is polluted, and stinks of rotting fish. The water makes you sick if you drink it. The streets are ruined with bomb pot holes and the cemeteries can't hold the large numbers of the dead. There are no churches anymore, and you are not allowed to even go into the old buildings. You're scared and hungry. What happened, what happened. You cry out dear God, what have I done. But it's too late. You made your choice.......

This is why belief in the Lord is so much better than believing in confused people:

Jesus Christ is one of 3 things. He is either a liar #1 or a lunatic#2 or #3 He is truly who He says He is The Son of The Living God.
You can't trivialize Him. He is either all important or of no importance at all.
Read the sermon on the mount in Matthew, and ask yourself if either a liar or a lunatic would deliver such a message.

I've long felt that the old testament god behaves like a spoiled brat that nobody can discipline. However, I think the "lies" were told by deluded humans, not by any deity.

I've considered the possibility, but I don't think you'll find the truth heading down that route. When you see God as something outside of yourself, you start to attribute flawed, human characteristics to It, and it leads to ideas like this.

That is the dumbest question, I have ever heard, sounds like your getting worried, you couldn`t come up with anything clever to ask, because you can`t prove that God don`t exsist, so you have to say something dumb? can people act like adults here?

Sounds like Satan to me !!!

God's Gospel:

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10

I think you said it all in your question. I think you might actually have the answer because no real loving true God would create such a beeped up world.

What if you are just a foolish hypocrite and a liar also?

That is far more likely than God being a liar.
