My girlfriend and I started dating about two years ago everything was going fine and she started law school about a month ago. We have been fighting pretty much non stop for the last three weeks about the stupid stuff. Her life is law school and when she gets a break she is able to spend a little time with me. What do you think is this the first sign of a break up or do I have to put up with her yellling at me until the first and hardest year of law school is over?

Try to understand she is very stressed right now. I am sure she is being unfair and unreasonable to you but she's focused on trying not to fail at law school. She probably doesn't even realize they way she has been acting. Please try to be supportive and understanding as I see you already are by posting this question. Things may be rough for a little while and she may act selfish at times but hang in there she is the same girl

If law school is her top priority now, what's to say that passing the bar and then practicing law won't be her top priorities later? But, law school is really hard and she is no doubt under pressure, and who do we dump on when we're stressed but the people closest to us, which is sad but true. Listen to your heart, man, if you are asking this question, you already know what to do.

I've never been to law school, but I would think it has to be very stressful for her. I think she will need lots of support and understanding if she is going to succeed. Put up with her-the rewards will be worth it. Luck.

I have been married for 28 years....I would NEVER put up with anyone who yelled at me. Communication is KEY. Let her know this argueing is not setting well. You might be lucky to find out now, instead of later, you two weren't meant to be....

You DON"T have to put up with her yelling. Take care of yourself, and do what you feel will make YOU happy. You are the only person you will always have to live with and put up with, so make yourself comfortable now.

I know how stuff like that feels.
