That is the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard. You would have to be pretty gullible to believe it.

I absolutely believe in reincarnation. God gives more than one chance to learn all of our lessons, and to experience them in every possible way. We don't remember because we suppress these memories so that they don't effect this life. We can tap into them with regression hypnotherapy, and there are some who can read their past charts. But the majority of us won't remember until we get to the Other Side. Also, many of our phobias, birthmarks, likes and dislikes can be tied to our past lives. If you have an over whelming connection with a place or a time period, it's probable you've spent a life there. And many of us spend multiple lives with key players, reincarnating over and over with the same group. If you want more info, Sylvia Browne has a wonderful book called "Past Lives, Future Healing" which is very informative.

I believe in reincarnation and that it may be possible to retain memories or at least some traits and emotions - kind of like the energy that is the spirit is molded by the physical body and manifests in the new body. I think I have had past lives - drowned once, but haven't had any real past life memories.

I do not believe in reincarnation. The Bible says it is appointed to a man once to die and after that comes judgment.
It is tempting to believe in reincarnation since it offers a type of immortality, which is comforting since it removes the finality of death. However, in the religions that believe in reincarnation, (Hinduism in particular) reincarnation is a CURSE not a blessing. People are only reincarnated because they did not "get it" in their current life. In fact people can be reincarnated as less enlightened individuals.
Finally, if reincarnation is true, and assuming that souls have no sense of race, gender, ethnicity, or socio-economic status, it is very probable that in your next life you would be very poor, and die young. So even if reincarnation is possible, I am not sure I would want to come back.

Reincarnation is a common teaching in most eastern religions. Judaism/Christianity was a minor religion until it was popularized in the 4th century.
It's possible, but it is unlikely a person would retain a sense of self, memory of this existence, or personality beyond his lifetime.
I have been regressed during which time I recalled past lives, but I'm still a skeptic and would not offer my experience as proof of reincarnation.

No. Reincarnation is nonsense. The body rots. Re-beginning is diverse and particular - yet even once you're re-born, that's no longer you. we are easily descended from a small crew of people residing in Kenya about 2 hundred,000 years in the past. that they had developed from an earlier species.

I can't prove it is impossible, but I don't believe in reincarnation. Since I can't remember a past life, I have nothing to base this on.

I believe it is. I mean, what would be the point of only getting to have one chance at this life. I don't know what my past life has been, but if I get to come back....I want to come back as a butterfly. :)

Yes I do. I do think I've had past lives, but I don't know who I was, and maybe I'm not meant to know yet.

We die once. That is why Christians go out of their way to proclaim the Good News of Pardon for Sin through Jesus Christ. When we leave here we face God. If we don't have the Pardon for our Sin we're in deep do do.
