Well me and my best friend both like the same guy. Well actualy the same two guys. BUT both the guys asked me to homecoming.. and I don't know what to tell her because every day, she says "I hope todays the day he asks me", and I don't want to go on lieing to her. And also which boy should i choose? Aaron, or James? And how should I tell my friend about this?

Ok, go to the homecoming with the first boy who asked u. Now, sit down w/ ur friend & tell her he asked U. Better for u to tell her before someone else does, or ur friendship is going down the tubes. She knows u like the boy too, so it won't be such a big shock to her. Lying to her is the worse thing u can do, so tell her now! Good Luck!

If you believe in listening to people with experience, here's my 2 cents. This happened to me in high school. I went to the prom with the guy, had a great time and ended up dating him my entire senior year. But I ruined my friendship permanently. You have to decide if the guy is worth (possibly) losing a friend. If so, go for it. If not, there are always other guys. In my case, the guy was worth it and the friend turned out to be a real b****! Ten years later, I'm not with the guy, but he's a good friend, and the (girl) friend still doesn't speak to me.

well decide who you want to go to the dance with then tell the other one that your friend needs a date to homecoming. and he will probably act on the opportunity. this is kind of a win win situation if you play it right

Truth, honesty, and true friendship are the most important aspect of life. If you like both of them so much, and she is your friend, and both of them ask you, so you basically can have your pick, then let your friend choose who she wants.
