SPYDERMAN- on IQ tests MARINES tend to have the highest scores of any branch of the military. I myself am NAVY and am going to take the Mensa test. You need to acquire a grip, dude and think before you type!

My son does presidential security -- he was chosen right when he entered the Marines. He did the delayed entry program, but wasn't involved in ROTC in high school He had to score really high on his ASVAB and go through a lot of mental tests. He also had to do urban warfare and close-quarter combat training. Another requirement is he had to sign a five year contract. I am pretty positive Marines who guard embassies go through the same training.

I think you have to be one truly excellent Marine, spit shined and real cool. Also, capable of the highest level of military conduct, such as marching; uniform condition; shooting, and other necessary skills. As well as of the highest personal character. I am not sure if you need the appropriate language skills, but that is a possibility.
After that, it is a case perhaps of applying through channels.
No dead-ends need apply.

The more like a Ken doll you look, the better are your chances of being an embassy guard. Seriously!

i don't know how a marine is chosen to be an embassy guard, but i know they ,{ the marines} are doing it because they listen and react.no questions, no complaints etc. i was army, but i admire the marines

You need to know to be a robot. Air force SP'S are smarter than all of the Mp's and embassy guards. The Govt picked the stupidest branch of the military so they would not have problems
