Korean ROK marines are by far the best marines
They do unarmed what American marines do with weopons

Man for man, the Royal Marine Commandos and the ROK Marines are harder men than your average United States Marine, just like the UK's Parachute Regiment and the Russian Federation's VDV are harder men than your average Soldier from one of the Army's Airborne units. It's a matter of how selective you are in accepting personnel and how rigorous your training and discipline standards are. Other Marine forces either do not compare, or do not have the sort of technical and tactical expertise the three UK, ROK, and United States possess.
This is not to say that certain units in the United States Marine Corps are below anyone else in quality; we're talking overall force. The Marine Corps has a proud legacy, and is no pushover.
It is rather interesting to note that those who ask this question on "which is the better unit" are invariably either non-military or don't know it's better not to ask. Professionals know what the score is, regardless of what the crowd says.

The United States Marine Corps are the most highly trained, best supported and equipped, most motivated fighting force on the face of the Earth. The British Royal Marines are most certainly the second best. The Russian Spetznaz (or special forces) go through the toughest training.

The Royal Marines are a lot better than the US marines because fighting is in our blood,even the US marines admit the Royal Marines are better.

The UK Royal Marines are probably the best in the world. I hate to say it, but I just have to assume that with a 32 week basic training, they get a lot done.

The British royal marines are the best because they are not robots like the US Marines are. The word MARINE stands for Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential I was A Police Officer in the USAF and the Jarheads are just the stupid drunks.
