I know it might sound a strange question but is it acceptable? My hair curls at the end so i thought this might be the solution. :)

i believe it is socially acceptable to straighten your hair as a man,
but i do not think it would be best to state that you do

I see alot of guys get their hair straightened, highlighted, colored.....kinda depends on their age and profession as to whether they admit it to friends, hollywood crowd brags about it. I've seen great results with Liscio brand, expensive but once it's done your hair is straight (some stuborn hair has a few waves here and there but most get pretty straight)....BUT...pick your hair dresser carefully, ask around and find someone who KNOWS what they are doing! Ask people who have had it done and their hair looks good who they go to. All straighteners can burn and damage the hair if used wrong, this is not one to do at home or on the cheap.

It's fine for men to use them.

There was a big article about it in The Times saying how men are using straighteners more, and finding women love the results.

A hair straightener is for anyone who needs to straighten their hair...male or female. Clay Aiken had it done when he was on American Idol.

Men can use them too but be really careful because if you use them too much you might turn into a girl.

Of course men can use them. You can buy ones with very narrow plates especially for men, as their hair tends to be shorter.
