your are trying to find the radius of the table. It extends from the center to edge of the table. You should find lenght of the table. Then you find the middle of what the lenght is. mark the that spot. then measure the middle the end of the table.

Know the diameter (measure across the table), half of that is your radius, your radius should take you to your center point. Think I remember right.

I'd take a tape measure and stretch it from edge to edge and mark the center of the tape. Repeat the measuring in two other places, marking the center each time. Each time you measure, you should get closer to true center.
