It's supposed to take one hour per every beer, shot and glass of wine you drink. So wait 2 just to be safe.

If you are asking how long will alcohol still be detectable by testing- the answer is approximately 12 hours per ounce of alcohol ingested. It takes that long for the body to fully metabolise and eliminate the alcohol from your system. The actual time depends on how much was actually drunk, the total amount of body fat you have, how efficient your liver and kidneys are, and your personal metabolic rate. It could be eliminated slightly sooner or later, depending on all those variables. If you got knee walking tight last night, you probably won't be legal to drive until this afternoon, and will feel like doody for a good day more.

one unit of alcohol takes one hour for your liver to remove from your body. One unit is half a pint of beer or lager one shot of spirit or one glass of wine 175 mil. So one pint is two units of alcohol so it will take two hours from the moment you finish drinking your pint

1 to 2 hours for the actual alcohol content to be metabolized, but there are new tests available that detect other metabolites for up to a week.
