Supposedly if your a muslim you cannot eat non halal meat, but I heard that you can eat fish though.. Is that true?

Fish has meat. But it does not have a complex enough nervous system as cows, chickens or pigs. Some say that fish doesn't even feel any pain.

Yes, Muslims can eat fish but not sharks as they are carnivorous (read below for a more detailed explanation). Most seafood are halal but there are also exemptions for Sunnis and Shias. For example Shias don't eat oysters, I was told by a friend. Amphibians (e.g. frogs) are haram.

yes that is true. God gave the same rules to the jews before. kosher (permissible) halal (permissible) meat is how god said animals should be killed.

Once my friend gave some food to some homeless muslims in the philippines but she didnt tell them it had pork in it. Would a cleric still damn them to hell?
