He insists that I bag my trash alphabetically. Some nonsense about OCD.

Your trash man is wrong!!
It should be bagged according to size, shape, and color.

Your responsibility is to throw the trash away, his is to pick it up--anything more gets complicated. If you don't want to--then don't. If he insists on that, call the Wastw Mgmt Department in your area politely speak to the Director in charge and mention that to that person if you really want to get forward----technically.
But if you want your trash to continue to get picked up, ASK why from the trash man, it's not your problem he is OCD. What if you were a total slob and didn't bag your trash...(making his job even more difficult) Find a happy medium and compromise.

How do you bag your trash alphbetically?? You would have to have a separate bag for each letter. Are you supposed to arrange the bags in alphabetical order?
I have an idea. If you have two bags, put a big "A" on one bag and a big "B" on the other. If you have three bags, go A, B, C. See if that works.

i have ocd and alphabetizing trash is quite normal for us, just appease him because going out of the routine can very much disrupt his "world" and could trigger latent suppressed reactions to ur disorganized garbage. Don't do something you'll regret.

yeah, your trashguy has OCD to the tenth degree. If he's an older trash guy, he could've been a Vietnam War veteran, and most Vietnam veterans are mentally kooky. :-D

not in my opinion no, yet ive watched 2 television programmes this week in regards to the slums of india. hundreds of human beings, inclusive of infants, spend all day ransacking by way of ordinary rubbish dumps to retrive any products they'd, to earn adequate funds just to stay. So for some human beings the saying is real.

I think your trash man might be obsessive compulsive! My mailman stacks my mail alphabetically in my mailbox... I'm not saying anything for the fear of him going "postal"....
