Actually in some cases this is a gland. Have you ever squeezed it and seen fluid (perhaps whitish or clear) come from the hole? My husband and I both have these and it's simply lymph gland materials being excreted. I have particularly a lot more trouble with mine than he does because mine gets infected periodically due to location (its down in my ear groove). His is on the outside top of his outer ear. It's nothing to worry about or be ashamed of. If you want more information you should ask your doctor what he/she suggests it may be.

Me and my four year old daughter have it. It means that you were born with a veil over your face. Do you have strong psychic abilities? I do. Of course my mother didn't tell me until I was grown and noticed that my daughter had the marks. She told me I had the same marks. I can't see them myself because of the location.
