I am interested in doing the whole "points" thing with weight watchers. I do not have a lot of weight to lose, maybe 5 pounds at most, but i want to maintain a healthy diet and weight. Can someone explain to me IN DETAIL how the points system works or where i can find out about it without having to join weight watchers. Also, is there a website that has foods and their point values??

The points you are allotted is based on what you currently weigh. You also get 35 flex points per week. Try these sites for point values:

http://dottisweightlosszone.com/
http://www.augustgames.com/weightwatchers.htm#S

200-225 = 26 pts
175-199 = 24 pts
150-174= 22 pts
125-149 = 20 pts

You can also earn extra points for exercise. 20 mins of moderate activity earns you 1 pt

weight Watchers has a web site, I joined it and didnt think too much of it honestly. Most people that I know that also have joined have only gained the weight back if they went off the diet.I just cut the sugars and drink more water and no carbonated drinks of any kind. you can lose 15 pounds if you cut out carbonated drinks and that is in 1 month alone.

Since i would be here typing an essay to explain everything in detail, i'll just give you some really helpful websites. One site I absolutely LOVE for weight watchers stuff (including recipes, tips, motivational stuff and points for your favorite restaurants/foods) is www.dwlz.com just click on stuff to find information..also www.weightwatchers.com and www.halfmysize.com

Good Luck!
