When you say tapewroms you are referring to what we call as Taenia saginata (found in infected beef ) or Taenia solium (found in infected pork). They are called tapeworms beacuse they can grow as long as 10 meters. Their habitat is usually the intestines where they suck the body's nutrients coming from the digested food (which I guess causes the slimy thing that you are saying ). Hope this helps. God bless

The human bot fly excretes a little slim and enters through your hair follicles. Then it grows, creating a huge bump on the skin which breaks open as the larvae pushes itself out and drops to the ground. Tasty, isn't it?
