I'm not going to lie, I don't support illegal immigration, But i know there are many of you who do, I would like to understand from your point of view why you do support illegal immigration.

OK!! This is exactly what i suspected,
When pro-illegals have the chance to maybe give other people some perspective on their point of view they don't!! & now i have thumbs down? This is getting really pathetic, everytime an immigration questions about illegals arises, i always say, Just deport them, I end up with about 5 thumbs down,
So where are those people who give me thumbs down? Are you still thinking about your answers?

First, after one answers a zillion identical questions, to answer more is definitely a nuisance. You are not the first person to drag out the same old tired question, then criticize us because we don't instantly run to answer it AGAIN.
Second, it is not true that I support illegal immigration. I do support a nearly open border policy, but that would mean allowing millions to come in legally, which is not the same as supporting illegal immigration. Most of the problems caused by illegals happen because they are illegal, not because they are Mexican.
But, there is another issue. We do have 11 million illegals here. We can do one of two things. We can get on our high horses, and make a real good imitation of Nazi Germany, or we can act like the strongest country in the world, and accept them as human beings who simply want a better life, and who would be very glad to come in legally.
We don't let them come in legally. They either come in illegally or don't come in at all. History shows that ambitious people willing to work will go where the jobs are, at any price, even risk of death in the desert.
If the 7 million Mexican illegals had applied for admission during the Battle of the Alamo, not all of them would be here yet -- partly because no one lives long enough to be admitted!
Unlike most of you, I know illegals. I know them as men and women. I know them in the US and I know them in Mexico, and I know their families in Mexico. I see the young women getting an education only because an older brother is working in the US as an illegal.
I see families who lived in houses made of sticks, now living in concrete block houses because a son came to the States and sent the money for the new house, as simple as it still is. I see the water tanks on the roofs, so the women don't need to walk great distances to carry water, because the sons work in the US, and send the money home.
I see little kids who don't get sick, and are less likely to die because the illegals send money to make better water systems.
That's why I say leave the illegals alone, and let them have their papers.

some people want cheap slave labor, and hope they can abuse the illegals. Some people are crazy and irresponsible. Some people dont realize that many immigrants can apply for citizenship and come here legally. Who knows what some people think, maybe they just want attention and to "stick it to da man"

I support 'em because the majority of them want to change their life money-wise....
If they come for the American-dream in pursuit of a better life, why should there be a problem?
Legal immigration from Mexico and Latin America isn't easy, otherwise we wouldn't have illegal immigration other than visa-overstaying.
Maybe it's because I've seen so many successes from these people in my community that I believe in amnesty for those who are here to work and those who want a better life..

I don't really SUPPORT it...but they are doing the jobs that us spoiled Americans don't want to do. If all the illegal immigants left this country would suffer economicaly. There are bad points to the debate also such as drain on health care and welfare for the people that need it.

I don't support it though I will change sides in flash if people can't tell the difference from Mexican American, Legal Immigrants and Illegal Immigrants. Why should I support those that only come here to belittle my heritage?
So tired of generalizations from my so called American friends. I am only one but the second largest ethnic minority is Mexican American, keep up the good work(sarcasm)
Ever consider that your opinion isn't with the majority?

Any person in the world can enter the US legally if one of these three facts is "correct":
1) Country of origin
2) Income level
3) Known associates
Making immigration illegal for some and legal for others based on the three facts stated above is discrimination.

I think the USA should try to help the less fortunate. These people just want a better life, who can blame them for that?
