As long as you take in less calories than you burn, you WILL lose weight! Cut your calories, exercise daily (hard enough to break a sweat) and drink plenty of water!

Don't just cut down on the junk food a little, cut it out entirely otherwise you aren't going to shift that weight. Even with normal exercise, drinking a can of fizzy a day will make you gain weight.
It'sa bout eating the right food and excercising, not extreme diets. Losing weight fast isn't good for your either, you body goes into starvation mode and tries to save all the fat that comes in.

As I said in my last answer. If you want to lose weight fast, I hope you want to gain it back fast! If you lose weight with a "quick fix" there is almost a 100% chance you will gain it all back. Losing weight and maintaining the loss will mean making lifestyle changes. Check out this website: www.sparkpeople.com. It's free and very helpful. I would also like to recommend weight watchers. I lost 60lbs in 6 months two years ago on that program. Hope this helps!

First thing you need to do is defrag and reindex your brain (rethink how you feel about eating and exercising). Otherwise, you're heading straight into a life of misery.... trust me. Follow the link below dealing with the psychology behind overeating. Reading the rest certainly won't hurt you either....

Losing weight really is as simple as basic addition and subtraction. If the calories you eat add up to more than what you burn in a given time period, you will gain weight. Conversely, if you eat fewer calories than you burn, you will lose weight. Depending on your size and activity level, the number of calories will vary quite a bit. The secret is finding your “break even” calorie intake level. For most people, the “ball park” figure will be around 1800 to 2000 calories per day. If you are larger than average, this number will be higher, lower if you are smaller than average. Metabolic rate can have an effect on these numbers as well. Exercise plays an important role also, as this can increase the number of calories you burn by quite a bit as well as increasing your metabolic rate.

If you want a generally healthy diet that’s easy to follow and avoids hunger, the one I recommend will do the job very well. You can fill up and still lose weight. Eat lots of fresh vegetables as they contain very few calories yet are full of good nutrition. The less you cook them, the more nutrition they retain. Stick with whole grains, as they tend to be better for you and don’t turn to sugar as readily as processed grains do. For example, whole grain bread is much better for you than plain white bread. Eat a variety of fruit on a daily basis. Avoid empty carbs, fats, and sugars…. Examples: junk food and soda. If you feel you need protein to build muscle, add some chicken or fish to your diet. Avoid beef and dairy products, the cons outweigh the pros.

If you can’t get your mind into the ‘eat to live; don’t live to eat mode‘, you should probably read this short article on the psychology behind overeating:

eat in moderation, don't snack often, stray away from junk foods & fast food ESPECIALLY, & drink lots of water & 100% juice without added sugars. lots of junk food brands have started to put out more 'healther' versions of their products, & these are good too! pretty much nothing from fast food restraunts are healthy, no matter what they say.

another thing my mom told me to do is drink a big glass of water before each meal, it helps you start eating in moderation & keeps you from overeating without rejecting nutrition you need. plus most people don't get enough water these days, water keeps your skin naturally moisturized & helps your looks too!

try to exercise as much as you can too, even if it's just going up & down the stairs & spending at least half an hour on the trampoline a day.

i've been doing both of these methods & i started to see results just a few days later. =)

Go buy a ton of your favourite vegies & fruit eat only them with steamed fish, you be surprised how well you feel inside and take weight off, walk up and down your stairs as often as you can, the results will astound you, otherwise buy some speed and have two glasses a day for two weeks and fat will fall off you faster than you can cut it off!
