he yanked me toward him, and hugged me. I can't recall him hugging anyone else. Do U think he likes me? He just came in for that seminar from out of town. He wasn't our regular instructor. But he was good lookin'!

Yeah definitely he liked you, but I would say that was a fairly unprofessional move on his part though; since he's supposed to be a professional and tech for his part of the seminar

Yeah, sounds to me like he liked you if he didn't hug anyone else. Did you notice a wedding band or a tan line on the ring finger?

Hugging is a sign of respect in the martial arts. It might mean he likes you or maybe you stood out as being a good martial artist that day?

I agree that his reaction was disrespectful and inappropriate. If he wished to politely explore a relationship he would have asked you nicely to join him for conversation and/or a cup of coffee, or something similar rather than a quick feel.
