If you guys have to hide your love what is the point in getting married it should be a family affair,,,If you can't share this special love that was bonded by god. I feel you guys need to sit down and re-think your values and how your entering this marriage on lies and no truth? How do you think your mother is going to feel not being able to help you plan out your very special day???
think about what your doing.. this might be your only wedding

Don't start your marriage in lies. Everything you do should be open and honest. You can't start a marriage "hiding secrets". What does that start? More secrets and lies. Talk with your fiance - set a time to let the parents know and plan your discussion. Between you and your fiance - you should have a game plan. Play devil's advocate. What if they say this? What if they say that? Have theoretical questions answered and agreed to between you before you have the discussion. If your fiance is the one who suggested "keeping it just between the two of you" - I would do some exploring.

I'm sure both Mums would want to know of your plans,are you afraid they won't be happy with your plan's?
If you are grown up, you are old enough to make your own decisions like you did.

well, if you want them to help you pay for a wedding, i would suggest that you tell them. you should tell them anyway. why wouldn't you?
