Yes, find and install a fan shroud, it will make a difference. The fan shroud makes the fan more efficient by creating back pressure like a nozzle on a garden hose. The transmission: Have you checked the condition and level of the fluid. If the fluid is black or smells burned, it needs to be replaced. If the level is low, it needs to be filled. If you are going to use it to carry a camper, you should do the following: -replace the transmission fluid -replace the filter -have the radiator flushed -install an extra cooler to help dissipate the heat from the transmission fluid If the transmission fluid is dirty or the level is low, it will cause the engine to run hot. You should also make sure there is no air in the coolant system and the radiator cap is rated for that engine.

http://www.nadaguides.com -it is worth as much as much as someone is willing to pay for it. book says 4,000 10,000 ???? if restored right much lower for less in condition--- nothings perfect
