I have short hair and I know it takes time to grow hair but I look on the internet and found some remedies for hair growth,hair pills and herbal stuff that good for your hair.Does anyone have a success story for quick hair growth at least in a 3 month time period. Please help citizens of yahoo.

I all ready have extensions but I just want my hair to grow faster in time(well soon) and wear my real hair at a nice length. I'm tried of using weave's.

Well, one good old fashioned way is braiding. Also, 1 a day women's formula is great. 1 A day can be found in the vitamin section of your local Wal Mart. Its awesome! I think you can also get over the counter prenatal vitamins for hair growth.

You can't speed up the rate your hair grows. Don't let anyone tell you it's possible because it simply isn't. Some people's hair grows faster than others and it's just genetics, not pills. The average growth rate is 1/4 to 1/2 inch a month. Hair is a non-living substance called keratin. Nothing you take or put on it will make it grow. You can't feed a non living material and expect it to grow. The only part of your hair that is living is the follicle, the base of the strand of hair. Hair grows faster if you trim it -not cut it, trim it- every month.
Then, you don't need to waste your time on useless strange remedies. A proper nutrition helps, because if you don't, you're hair falls out earlier.
It also helps to use a good shampoo and conditioner as well. ☺

I have really long hair and the one thing i found that made it grow quicker was believe it or not was horse shampoo and conditioner you can find it at wal-mart in the pet section it really works. Just use it like you use regular shampoo and conditioner.
