I have been watching over and over how many math problems, geography questions and different things of the like comes up. You can so totally tell they want someone to answer their qestion so they dont have to study to find the answer. Why do people do this?

Some people legitimately need help. Answerers should show how they arrived at their answers. However, a student should know that Yahoo Answers will help them get it right on the homework but if you don't take the time to figure it out yourself you will fail the test. Answerers shouldn't complain about "Do your own homework", that should be considered running up you pts and you shouldn't read it if you didn't wanna help in the first place.

Hmm, why don't you think upon it for a while and come to a conclusion rather than ask a question on Yahoo Answers.

because they can we have become a lazy culture. some of it might be because people don't teach there kids to behave in class so the teacher is to busy trying to get the class to calm down so the teacher can teach what they should be teaching so the kids have to ask for help some where out side of school.

Because it is way easier to get the answers from someone else than to do your own work. And if you happen to be overloaded with homework (I was & that was almost 30 yrs ago) then it is faster too..

it is so true they just wanted to do their faster and so they use yahoo answer to do it fast so they can play computer or anything else but some times i will help them with some maths question

i personally havent asked a question yet...so i'm not a guilty party...but...america gets lazier with each generation...even yours was lazier than previous ones....but when you get an easy way out...people take it...even if it hurts them in the end.

i only use it for microbiology cuz the answers are never in the book and i can't find it online....some people do take advantage tho...

practically because you get more relevant answer from people who wants to share thier idea or knowledge....
