Extreme home makeover, huh. We toured the home 1 week ago. We live 30 min away from Armada. Everone that walked throgh comented on how that would be the 1st thing to go! My 4 year old scatters sand all over my house & her sand box is outide.

Ants like sand. Ants invade homes. Ants are disgusting when in a home. Also, think about when a kid comes in from playing in the sand box, sand pours off of them for a long time until bath time. Now imagine that all over the carpet, bed, and floors of your home. And then consider the throwing aspect. That would be a royal mess you would have to clean up everyday. No Way. Garage maybe, no bedroom.

Are you crazy? There would be more sand on the floor than in the box within the first 5 minutes. No way would I put one in there.

No... but if you put it outside cover it. I saw some nasty episode of some show (24 maybe) last week where some autistic kid ate sand and got some nasty worm thingies in his eye. Don't know how realistic that was but yeah, it was enough to deter me from ever considering a sandbox for any kids I'd ever have.

Not in a million years. But that's just my opinion- Ive got 3 little ones 2 are boys and I know what a headache that would be for ME. But fun for them!

Not unless you are prepared to clean up tons of sand from the carpet every day! Sand is not really appropriate to have inside.

Yes, if it was on a floor that I could sweep 50 times a day, and ants wouldn't go in it, my dogs wouldn't pee in it...and so on
