Get there earlier, see where she sits, and sit near her. That could give you a chance to talk before the service gets started.

I bet you guys have a church directory... look her up. Call her. Say, hi, this is Dan from church. I was wondering if you'd like to meet Saturday morning for coffee. :D If you don't have a directory, ask one of the deacons or elders if that information is on file, if you can have it, etc... or try to catch up with her before the service starts. Even if all you do is say, Hey, I've been meaning to ask you... coffee? It gets the conversation started. You don't need a half hour, just two minutes.

Well you should get to know her as a friend first. I know you can try catch up to her after church some how even for a few minutes. Or you can observe and see if you know anyone she hangs out with or talks to at church so that they can introduce you to her. And when you do get the chance to talk to her invite her somewhere with you kind of like a date as two people getting to know each other, make sure she understand your intentions. GOOD LUCK. I wish you the best & GOD BLESS YOU.

Ask her out for some coffee to talk about whatever conversation you struck up with her during service. There's really not too many ways to go about that.

Is there assigned seating in your church? Sit next to her. Most services have a greeting period -- use that time to make eye contact. Take your next cue from her reaction after you sit next to her a few times. You will know if she is not interested or asks one of her friends or family members to sit next to her.

Do not rush it, just take it slow. Are there classes offered that she takes and you could also take? Since you do not know her and she does not know you, just take your time to get to know more about her. Talk to your pastor and see what he says.

it really is a appealing subject matter. See Time mag's conceal tale "God and females: A second Reformation sweeps Christianity" from Nov. 23, 1992. To summerize, the Episcopal Church united states of america is an social gathering of ways churches dealt with increasing roles for females. contained in the Nineteen 1970s and Eighties, feminism began to effect theological learn contained in the seminaries. because the denomination embraced the modern stand on many social subject matters, feminism became study again into theology and portion of this, became to operate again the quite a few patristic attitude to Holy Orders. It became a warm subject matter, because it appeared like a pick few hyjacked the church and took it someplace extremely some human beings did not opt for to bypass over an exceedingly little while. at the same time as the first woman became consecrated as Bishop of Massechusetts, she threw off her miter and yelled some thing like "yippie, we made it." It became about progressing a feminist schedule. Biblically, if we were to be to blame students, we would make absolute to snatch the essence and translate it to our day and way of life. maximum have self belief this brings us to conclusions which do no longer restrict females from preserving all places of artwork adult adult males carry. i'm this form of human beings, although i'm no longer a feminist. i do no longer swear loyalty to the patriarchal presuppostions of the former testomony. hence, i do no longer study them into the N.T. Many will insist on a literal interpretation of particular verses devoid of making use of decrease grievance. it truly is risky. to blame scholarship demands decrease grievance as a thanks to be honest to scripture. The Bible is "living." this suggests it really is not static and neither are we. Many have self belief females can carry all places of artwork except that of bishop or senior pastor contained in the respective non secular traditions. they are reading a patristic presupposition from the Levitical priesthood into present day day pastorates, by skill of the very reality the apostles were all adult adult males. That became contained in the first century, in a Jewish way of life and interior of Jewish faith. we are in a quite some situation; all of us recognize gender isnt as important as they theory it became. Many will say it truly is breaking down differences contained in the jobs between adult adult males and females. Gender confusion isn't my foundation, yet it truly is extremely on a complete difficulty. wish it helps. study the Time tale in case you'll locate it. it would help lots.

Talk with her briefly, commenting her on her nice *fill in the blank*. Right after service is over and people are leaving, just make it a point to leave when she does.

Does she know you at all? If she does, you can call her some evening and talk to her. Is there any event coming up at church where you could meet her? Any dinners or celebrations on the calendar? You could call her and discuss those dates.

Just ask her out for coffee after church, unless your religion doesn't drink coffee, then ask her out for lunch after church.
