a back-stabbing friend, or just being a teen:

Okay, here's the Stitautation:

My friends likes this guy, who is in one of my classes...

I didn't like him at first (as a crush), but then I started talking to him, and spending time with him, and I do like him...

He's really sweet....
The other day we had to drop our intrsuments off in the band room, but it was locked, so he offered to keep min with him, and I said okay, (he then had to carry two violins with hime for half the day), it was really sweet!

Then I realized I do like him, but my friend still likes him, and I told her I don't like him, but I really do!!
I get these vibes, that he likes me to, but he's 1 1/2 years older, but that's okay....

Even my other friends think he might like me, but I can't tell my other friend who does like him!!

What should I do??
And am I a back-stabber, or just being a teen??

Don't try to blame your problems on "just being a teen" cuz you have to live up to your mistakes(no matter what they may be) - but what you should remember is that "boys come and go, but friends are forever." If you thinkthe boy is worth loosing a friend over, then go for it. But just remember that you might be putting your friendship on the line over a boy who might not be there for you in the years to come - when your real friend will be there for you no matter what. talk to your friend, be gentle and tell the truth. And for the sake of your friendship ..... think about it!

Just being a teen. your friend never made a move, and its not like they are dating. Take it slow and if you tell your friend you like the guy, she will understand in a day or two.

It's always come down to this. Fair is fair, if your friend doesnt make a move soon then take the kill. No one should let some one slip away just because their friend is too cowardly to do anything about it.

Just being a teen, be careful. You don't want people calling you a "whore"
