I'm not saying that white men don't do this but I see much more black men having relationships with no title and living with woman without being married.

Don't generalize what you don't know Are you black? are you white? what race or ethnicity are you? it doesn't matter but you still shouldn't generalize black men. I'm a black woman engaged to a white man and we jumped from just dating to engagement. He didn't want to put a title on our relationship he didn't want to be my boyfriend because he was afraid of screwing up the relationship and losing me! then one day he said I want you to be mine and I wanna belong to you! Then a month later he proposed to me! So don't generalize any race of men! If this is a personal question and he doesn't wanna be your boyfriend don't push him he may a fear of commitment or maybe he don't like you like that! If this is just a general question, why does it matter to you?

Most black men think there all players because of the black oriented media. if you think that what you see on the BET is real than to you it is.Also the break down of the family unit is more rampant in black family's than any other race. If a young man is raised in a home with out a father figure to show him the way than he will learn it else were,the street ,prison, etc. Personally I hate to see it . It's just one more sign of how far we as a nation have degraded.

It sounds like generalizing to me and racist as well. Marriage and commitment work 2 ways. Have you ASKED the women in these relationships? My BLACK husband and I have been married for nearly 40 yrs. We have 5 kids who are All commited to someone who is committed to them. Our oldest is 20yrs and the youngest is 5yrs. . The majority of their friends have made serious commitments as well.Maybe you should look at yourself and see if it's you who displaying something that chases someone away.

Sorry, but I have to say it's not the color of the persons skin that decides who wants to commit and who doesn't.. I think it's pretty shallow and stupid to think that the outside counts. I am a white female who was VERY in love with an African American man. He was the joy of my life and I let him go because we argued all the time about not the color of his skin but the color of mine. I believe with all my heart that love is love, no matter what kind of package it comes in.

I'm not so sure about your statistics. You may want to check the statistics worldwide vs USA. My guy is white and we've been together so long without a commitment of marriage that his right of asking has long expired. LOL

My boyfriend of 98 years hasn't married me and he is white. Men are afraid of commiting to one women on papaer i guess kinda makes it final
