Okay, I have gym everyday for second period. I sweat a lot and burn calories. At Lunch, I eat a chicken patty sandwich, lots of salads and some cocktail/fruit and drink flavored water. When I get home I sometimes eat not so balanced meals. What do you think is really healthy food. No frozen food or rice, etc. Something healthy, and to maintain a good weight. Any suggestions?

Oh yeah, does eating a chicken patty sandwich, with salads and fruits/cocktails as sidedishes sound healthy?

fruits/cocktails sounds full of sugar... have a whole piece of fruit instead of fruit cocktail drowned in syrup if possible. A chicken patty sandwich can be fine as long as the patty is not fried, or drowning in mayonaisse (or special sauce). Also, you might want to take one top off of the sandwich and eat it open-faced, or with a piece of lettuce instead of the bread. Drink regular water or tea without sweetener or flavoring if possible. No diet drinks or sodas and none with sugar either... just none of that. Lowfat milk is good.

Salads are good with a moderate amount of regular dressing, or just some vinegar and the tiniest bit of oil. You can mix equal parts horseraddish, vinegar, and mustard for a fat-free dressing (I like it on salmon over a bed of lettuce and asparagus). Sometimes I add a little olive oil.

Personally I like to eat a lot of high-fiber foods. Whole fruits and vegetables, nuts, berries, dried fruits, legumes, beans, whole grains, no-sugar added cerals (only a small portion), no-sugar added granola (a kind with mostly seeds... like pumpkin and flax seeds for my omega 3 fatty acids), non-fat organic yogurt, eggs, air-popped popcorn with some melted butter (real butter, no substitutes!), and for a treat I really like a little ice cream. When I scoop it I think that what I give myself isn't enough, but while eating it slowly, one scoop is just plenty and anymore would just be excessive.

Watch those portions.

Keep up with the exercise and good for you for being concerned about the health aspect of things rather than quick weight-loss results!

For your age, your lunch is relatively healthy.

For meals at home, about once a week have canned salmon (about 3-4 ounces. Also good is 5-minute oatmeal. You can cook that in the microwave, so you don't have to mess with boiling water. If the taste is too bland, you can add fruit.

As long as you have protein (meat or vege), carbohydrate, and good fat at each meal, it will be relatively healthy.

In the library link at www.hufa.org are some books with diets that are based on balancing protein, carbs and fats.

OK Your steadiness is how much cash you've gotten to your account Ex You deposit $three hundred and your checking steadiness is now $three hundred Your to be had steadiness is how much cash you've gotten to be had proper now minus purchases, repayments, and many others, and any holds EX You deposit $three hundred and out of the $three hundred best $one hundred is to be had so that you can use proper now given that the financial institution has a preserve at the final $2 hundred (most commonly banks best make the primary $one hundred of any deposit to be had instantly and the remainder the next industry day) so... ... even as you've gotten $one hundred to be had to make use of your steadiness is $three hundred...additionally your to be had steadiness is composed of pending transactions Ex If you cross to the shop and purchase some thing for $10 this transaction could be deducted out of your to be had steadiness of $one hundred and now your to be had steadiness is $ninety...
