The Bible is clear. It calls for death as punishment for sin. Such death is not called murder. Christians today generally do not accept the rules regarding the issues relating to killing a woman that has had sex outside marriage; however, the light it sheds on abortion is without question. In the Bible anyone who commits adultery is stoned to death. And there is no specific time frame during which the stoning is to take place. This sets a limit upon when a fetus becomes a life worth saving. If a woman committing adultery is discovered she is stoned. Prior to conception and after conception God calls for death of the pregnant woman. Killing the woman and man along with the fetus continues at any time once it is discovered that adultery occurred. . However, God does not call for the killing of the child. Therefore once birth has occurred, the child may not be killed. It is clear that from conception to birth God does not consider the fetus an independent human.

When God says that he knew you in the womb or created you or any other similar thing, it is the same when he aborts you. So when there is a miscarriage, he knew you, when he commands you to be killed, he knew you and when you are aborted, he knew you. It means nothing to God. If it did, God would not miscarry a child, Kill a sinner or allow an abortion. And it is God himself that invented abortion. If God is an evil God then there is death in abortion. If God is a loving God there is no death in abortion. I choose to believe in the loving God that aborts the fetus, yet does not kill the life.

When men are fighting and kill a fetus, that is not an abortion, or a miscarriage. It is evil of you to mix the emotions of murder with the emotions of abortion. In abortion, there is no death. God simply sets the fetus aside and uses it later.
There are two types of God that a person can choose to believe in. One is an evil and hateful God. Such a God would allow death in abortion. The other type of God would allow abortion, but not allow death in abortion. I choose to believe in a God that does no murder in abortion. You may choose to believe in you God that murders in abortion. However, you will be believing in a false God.

I am sorry Unicorn if I refused to debate you, but nothing you have said or quoted uses the word abortion. You simply lie to people about what the Bible says. I challenge you to show me even ONE place in the bible where the word abortion is used or the practice of abortion is outlawed. You can't because it is not there. You live in a fantasy world you created in order to make yourself feel powerful. And you have failed. The truth is clear. Christ / God uses abortion in the form of miscarriage every day. He mentions it in the Bible. God calls for the killing of mothers frenquently in the Bible. God supports what I say fully and there is no support for what you say. If there is, then publish even one instant in the blble where it says abortion is wrong. Just One. Come on, just one.
The Bible says Unicorn will burn in hell for misleading the followers of Christ, as will all the other anti christ pro life people who are intent on taking away free will. Unicorn I no longer believe in you.

You are sadly mistaken in your opinion, as it does not address God's feelings regarding the Unborn Baby. Exodus 21:22-25 states "If men cause a woman to give birth early & no mischief (meaning the child survives) the person causing the injury is to pay a fine and the Judges must agree on the husband's fine for the injury & the person causing the injury must pay what her husband says." HOWEVER, "If any mischief (damage to the woman or her fetus) comes of it, the man who caused the Injury or death of mother or baby shall pay "Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, life for life, etc, etc, etc." God also said, "The life of the flesh is in the blood,..." The blood of the fetus is different from the mother's, therefore it is not "her Body" to do with what she pleases. It is a separate life, with differing DNA, it is an individual worthy of God's judging it's murderer. Without reguard what Judges or Scientific people say. It is for God Alone, Who determines the punishment for the unbelieving people who shed innocent blood. He does say, HOWEVER, "Woe to them whose hands shed innocent blood." WOE in Hebrew means, "Destruction without remedy. I'd rather err on God's Behalf, than to err on Science's liberal interpretation of when LIFE BEGINS. One further item, you can't disallow this on the basis of "Old Covenant vs New Covenant." The Old Testament Jesus said "In the Scriptures you trust for your salvation, but These are They that speak of Me." He fully described sin in the Old Testament, and fully paid the price of it in the New Testament. It does not excuse those who are unbelievers, from reaping what they've sowed. The Old Testament is Christ Concealed, & the New Testament is Christ Revealed. Some will say "A fetus isn't alive till it draws it's first breath as Adam did." That's stupid, the Fetus breaths the oxygen in it's blood that comes to it from the mother, to it via the Placenta. satan is the author of death & misery, not God. When Adam listened to satan (in the form of a serpent) he chose to believe what someone else said & not Believe God. That brought sin & death. In Job, he says, "the Lord gives & the Lord Takes away." God recorded what he said accurately, although what he said was in error. Because sin brings death, and spontaineous abortion (miscarriage) happens, it is no sign that God caused it. Most miscarriages happen because the fetus is abnormal & deformed, this is not God's design, but flaws introduced because of the sinful path Adam chose for all mankind.

What about this bible passage... "If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely [Hebrew: "so that her child comes out"], but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot" (Ex. 21:22–24). And also, David tells us, "Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me" (Ps. 51:5, NIV). Since sinfulness is a spiritual rather than a physical condition, David must have had a spiritual nature from the time of conception. I don't understand why you think God thinks abortion is good! There can't be two truths! I think your example doesn't clearly teach the "fetus" isn't a life yet, whereas the ones I mentioned do. Also, in the New Testament, Jesus' mercy teaches us to not kill under any circumstance. And also, based on another of your "questions", where you say pro-life is pro-death because everyone dies... that's like saying because I gave birth to my son, I also murdered him since he will die some day.

They did not have pregnancy tests back then so it was right away. In the Bible God has supposedly said ,"I knew you before you were born." I don't believe int the Bible but I don't like abortion either. Yes according to God it is a human it can't be something else, it still has a heart. Take responsibility for you actions. if you don't want kids don't have sex or take birth control and wear condoms people know the consequences of sex. I don't believe in abortion regardless of my beliefs. It is still a future child. Even if you say it is unaware of yourself I guess that means all people who are in a coma should just be killed right away. Lets not even wait huh?

Aparently you havent done your home work very well because the Bible says in Ps 139 :13-16 speaks of God being aware of the embryo as a living being and in Exodus 21 :22,23 states if a man was struggling with a pregnant woman and he kills the un born child he should be put to death for killing the child as well as Gen 9:6, 1st John 3;15 , Exodus 20:13 makes it very clear that he cherishes all life including the unborn at any stage hope that clears up you misunderstanding of the scriptures Gorbalizer

Show me where you found that in the Holy Bible. It is not clear as you say. Where does it say that in regards to conception ?? In the beginning you are taking text out of the Old Testement. The Bible is not wrong, but I think you are. In the Bible, by the old laws in the Holy Lands women were stoned to death. You are quoting muslim law. I am almost certain, you are only reading what you want to read. The tiny fetus is a life and no matter what you try to prove, it is a life. The fetus upon conception is a little Soul, and no matter what you try to say in regards to the Bible, you are wrong, not the Bible. Send us your proof !!

This must be misinterpretation because it is in direct conflict with the example of Jesus given in the preceding answers.
It is also in conflict with the universal teaching of the Church - the official interpreter of Scripture - especially the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Please give the exact chapter and verse because the other writers and I know of no example of a known pregnant woman being stoned.

The bible very clearly and specifically states in Genesis 2:7 that a person does not become a "living soul" until he breathes through his nostrils. A fetus does not breathe through his nostrils and is not a "living soul" or person.

That trumps any other argument anti-abortionists try to offer using the Bible as their support.

I wouldn't base my decision about something like abortion on just the Bible. That's morally lazy. That's allowing your morals to be spoon-fed to you. Instead, we should have meaningful discussion on both people's rights over choices concerning their own bodies and the issue of when the fetus is considered too old to be aborted. This is something too serious to leave it up to what some yahoos said a couple millenia ago.

the law....Jesus had a woman caught in the act of adultery and he asked her accusers which of them was without sin and to cast the first stone. Jesus didn't condemn her and even forgave her sins and told her to sin no more. she wasn't with child. The Word says He knew me in the womb and even before the world was created. so I would say God considers a child at conception a living being.

Did everyone else notice how untruelaw completely avoided responding to the LIFE FOR LIFE part. That is because he made up his mind what he wanted the bible to say about abortion before looking for applicable scriptures. He is amazing in his ability to ignore parts of the bible that are contrary to his preconcieved opinion. Look at how he answered another question.

You should have the abortion and not tell the bf.
A violent man could kill you.
A loving God does not "kill" in abortion. A loving God saves the soul of the child and gives eternal life to all.

Notice that in this situation he says the fetus has a soul.

And in another response he contradicts his own statement that the fetus has no life. See below.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Abortion was invented by God and is used every day to better the lives of all people, including the fetus

I tried to debate him in email but he is not interested in the truth. He is one of those who as the atheist say , makes up his own god. He has no understanding of ancient law and does not care what is true.
