How do you format a Microsoft Office Word 2003 document to change a specific word in a text to another word?

For example I typed an essay using Microsoft Office Word 2003, and I want to change the word "Lawrence" to "Larry", throughout the entire document, without having to manually change it. I know this is possible, because I learned how to do this in a college computer class, but I can't remember. Thank you for your help.

Go to the EDIT menu and pick REPLACE.
