Well, in analyzing it, the idea that his disciples were "thick and ordinary" is true indeed. Meaning, they were human, not li ke him in that he was the son of God. Though, I do not believe that it was his disciples that twisted Chrstianity, but rather those who did not believe in certain doctrines. Things like "*yawn* I don't feel like loving my neighbor today, so I believe I'll start my own religion where we get to TP everyone on a regular basis." You see?So there, this person has it wrong. The disciples preached the truth until the end of their days. It wasn't until after all of their deaths that the truth was twisted and changed so that it would become corrupt.
However, I personally do not see Christianity shrinking. I see it growing. Look at the number of Catholics in the United States alone. The Lutherans, Mormons, Presbyterians, Methodists, Quakers, Non-denominational Christians, etc. It's a vast majority. I doubt highly that Christianity would ever fail. In fact, I know that it will not. It was promised to us that it would stay because without it Christ would not be able to reign again. The Bible also states that God is the same; he doesn't change. Therefore, Christianity shall never leave the earth from this time forward.
Though, I believe this is just one of those cynical quotes to get a rile out of Christians and nothing more.

Ya, you're right. It will vanish and shrink (not really) for 7 years, and then comes back big time. Thick? Ordinary, ya.

Correct. They are destroying themselves without realizing it, and they are creating enemies. The Muslims are doing a great job of distracting them from the militant Heathen threat from the North. And the Allgermanic Heathen Front is growing.

Yes, you are very right.
Between those of us who you kill, and those that turn away over
fear, or loss of faith.
Christianity will indeed go away.
At the Last Trump. And WE will meet the Lord in the air!
SEE YA LATER SUCKERS!

It's alright, as far as it goes. It's the "God" thing that ruins it for me.
