Yes. Sparkling water and naturally flavored sparkling water, like talking rain, are great alternatives to sugary drinks. Drink as much as you want. They aren't bad for you in any way.

According to the FDA Sparkling Water is considered a carbonated beverage...and is sold as such. Why? Because the bottler has placed an additive in the water. Is it bad for you? No. It simply means that there is more in that bottle of Sparkling Water than bottled water or filtered water. Would it count toward your 8 galsses per day...as long as you drank the proper amounts that would constitute 8 glasses per day!

Goodness! You don't HAVE to have just plain old water all day every day. Doctors agree that as long as it's something you'd normally drink (sugar-free juice, coffee, tea, whatever) that it counts towards you daily recommened amount. You body filters out the bad stuff that may be in it, and the water is used. Just make sure that you do stay hydrated and drink plenty of fluids. So yes to your question.

Technically...any liquid costs towards 8 glasses. Water is just "Highly Recommended" to keep you hydrated. If you wanna stay hydrated, get water, and not drink...have some type fruit or veggie high in liquid content...watermelon, strawberries, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, etc. Or try having some brothy soup like chicken noodle.

Yes, definitely. Just make sure it's either sparkling mineral water, or naturally flavored. Don't drink anything with caffeine in it because that counterracts the good effects of the water.

I don't think so, thats a very good question. I think they just mean plain water, because if that were the case then coke is made with some water and that should count then! and so would most juices!! good luck!
