And it does not fit into your way of thinking, why do you attack me ?
A question is seeking knoeledge = an answer.
No matter how silly the question it should be answered.

I agree up to a point. If you are just being silly or if you are just trying to be insulting then you take what you get. In this category, a lot of the same questions are asked over and over again just to bait ppl. Some questions are just asked so others will spout and yet other questions are asked just to get a rise out of ppl. But I do agree that no matter how simple the question may seem it still could be someones legitimate question and deserves an answer. Try to ignore those who just don't get it.

Thats true isn't it...........

But some may feel it was a silly question, you have to deal with all kinds of people on here.Even famous!
Ca first lady, the other day was not treated nicely....just for asking a simple question, from some.!
I was quite shocked!!! people have less respect these days....
I have never been on the attack.....but I do leave one or two word replys, when I think it needs that.
But! your quite right, its all a matter of respect.....and this world has little of that....So seek those who seem to care, ignore those who don't.......having said that.....there are some very unhappy people on here....and some questions are way out there.I came across one on murder?...and wow!! it was bad.....all the best.....

There will always be people who will attack with destructive criticism in both answers and questions. Talent for the banal is abundant on this forum. Still, there are many helpful people. Have fun, get what you need, help when you can, and ignore the impoverished behavior.

You know what is really sad, are the many people who confuse a social life with obtaining points that they can't use to get a loaf of bread. There is something of an e-society here, but the point whores really muck things up with a lot of jabber. God bless you.

When you ask a question on an issue that you know people are emotional about you should expect a certain amount of criticism, disagreement or "attack". People are just stating their opinions so don't take it personally. Sometimes people ask questions in ways that they know will offend certain groups of people. They just want to incite people and get attention. But if you ask a legitimate question tactfully then people who disagree should answer in an intelligent manner instead of personally attacking the asker.

This is well and good, and simple to answer. When a question is asked as a question, but not as a statement of belief which is demeaning to others, usually good answers follow. When the question is geared to inflame, then flaming answers are given. IF you have been getting flamed, then perhaps you might want to reconsider rewording questions. IF your questions are reasonably asked, then you are hitting people where other "askers" have gone before and have left bruises here and there. Good luck

I do agree. Many humanoids like to jump to conclusions and forget to actually think. It's easier to spew disdain.

Don't confuse attacks with criticism.
