I'm 23, 5'7", medium build, and pretty darn muscular (but not "manly" so). I've decided that going for a "goal weight" alone is too ambiguous and misleading. I don't like what I see in the mirror, because I look kinda chunky. I've recently been doing well with diet and exercise, but I still don't have a clear long-term outlook. I'm an engineer, so I need a long-term goal in numbers, not "it's how you feel that's important." That's not how I tick. So with all that said, what would be an approximate attractive waist size (pant size, inches, whatever) for my body type. And if you have any thoughts on an ideal weight, do tell:)

Cheers and thanks for the help!

It sounds like you are of a thick build, and that is fine, so on you I'd say a good waist size in clothes would be around a size 7-10. I think that is around 28 inches.

i latterly examine an editorial on weight, indexed under are the effort-free data, at 5feet you will desire to weigh 100lbs, then upload 5lbs to each inch after the 5feet, so in actuality you will desire to be at 135lbs for 5'7. i became between a length 8 and 10 observing the clothing producer on your comparable top, my waist became between a 26-30 lower back counting on manufacturers, my genuine length became 28. I did alot of aerobics and loose weights, I wasn't chunky in any respect.
