I usually call a guy my boyfriend when I'm not seeing anyone else, and I know for a fact they aren't either. But meeting the friends/family is also a good indicator of what the relationship is.

I call someone my bf when its a week after so it can be claifyied and when u meet the friends.

I call someone my boyfriend when we decide that our relationship is official.
I think it's really ridiculous that people call someone their boyfriend after one date or after not even a date.

I think when you both commit to each other and verbalize that commitment then you can call him your boyfriend...it's embarrassing to introduce a guy as your boyfriend and have him give you a quizzical look.

if your sleeping together and have been doing it for a while and he doesn't see himself as your boyfriend then he is only using you and you could propably do better any way.
