bi-cameral: meaning two houses. The US has a Bi-cameral legislature, with two houses of Congress (House of Representatives and Senate). Other countries/states have only one legislative house.

You may also mean an example of a piece of legislature. An example would be a bill. A piece of legislature that passes the house is a bill, and it then goes to the senate.
