Um, I dunno.
But it certainly fits in with God's modus operandi so far. I mean, Jonas Salk gave us the vaccine for polio, some other dude found penicillin, and Louis Pasteur fixed a whole bunch of things.
All God has managed to fix is a rainbow in the sky to remind himself not to drown us all.
Maybe we're overpopulating the planet or something.

Why are humans so demanding? Assuming there is a God (and I most certainly didn't), then one would have to assume that this God created all of this, and is providing it to humanity relatively free of charge. The only costs are the costs we impose upon each other for things. As for God not "giving" the human race a cure for cancer, why hasn't God "given" the human race a cure for any number of other ailments, like AIDS or Lou Gehrig's Disease? And in the course of human endeavor, hasn't humanity itself generally had someone who came along and found a cure? Or at the very least, a treatment to heavily subdue the disease? Personally, what's going on with cancer is pretty much what's going on with many ailments these days. There's far more money to be made in treatment than in a cure. So why kill the goose that keeps laying golden eggs, so to speak?

As a human race we hate the Mexicans, or the Chechen's or the Israeli's. A Holocaust is happening in Africa and no one is intervening...and you think that God believes we have advanced enough to handle cure a disease.
Dis-ease we are Not at Ease as a world of people.

Why do you ask a question to which no one has the answer. God is not a magician who solves mysteries with a wave of his wand. Man created cancer. And any trials and tribulations that God allows to happen are for people to throw their trials find God, If there was no other way and help bring others to him through stuggle.

I believe that there are cures for everything .. however the pharmaceutical industry makes too much money to let a cure be known.. a cure would damage their empire!

because God knows that your spirit will not be affected, and that the body is actually important. i would declare god as evil if he didn't make the cure for cancer in our spirits

It says in the Bible that things like this are to remind us of God's power. But then there were times when plagues were sent because God was angry.

God gave us brains to use. Some have more than others. He gave us faith to use. Some have more than others. Both brains (intelligence that is) and faith have been used to fight cancer. Cervical cancer for example now has a vaccine thanks to the brains of good doctors and I have been healed by faith.

WHY DOES THE HUMAN RACE NOT PUT GOD AS THE HEAD OF THEIR LIVES?
WHY DOES THE HUMAN RACE CURSE GOD?
WHY DO YOU ASK THIS QUESTION?
DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WITH CANCER?
I AM SORRY IF YOU DO,
BOTH MY MOTHER AND MOTHER -IN-LAW DIED OF BREAST CANCER.
I DON'T BLAME GOD-SIN BRINGS FORTH SICKNESS-
NOT MY MOTHER'S SIN -THE SIN OF THE WORLD.
BECAUSE OF THE SIN'S OF THE WORLD WE ALL SUFFER.
GOD LOVES US , AND HE WILL HEAL US IN JESUS NAME IF WE ASK.IN FAITH BELIEVING.BOTH MY MOTHERS WANTED TO SEE JESUS AND READY TO LEAVE THIS WORLD BEHIND.
