Do you think it is fair to say that your religion (Christianity, Islam, etc.) is the only true religion before you have read every religion's book (Bible, Qur'an, etc.).

I don't think it's ever fair to say a religion is the only true religion. First, nobody can ever know for certain. Second, I believe God gave us different religions because we are all in a different place in our spiritual needs and growth. As long as it promotes good will and helping others, no religion should be considered "wrong."

I think it is fair to say. Think about it. If I'm looking for one truth out of 500, and I find it at 250, do I need to search through the other half??? Of course not, because I have already found it. I'ld then be wasting my time if I went looking at the other ones, when I already found what I was looking for.

Nope. No religious person can actually make the claim that they have honestly studied, tried, and then rejected every religion but their own.

Yes - Jesus said " No one comes to the Father except through Me." And he is the only person to say he was God, and back it up.

That is good enough for me.- let alone his presence and work in my life.

I cannot read other books - I have a spiritual resistance when I try to.

I agree, it is not right to say that. But it is within one's right to believe whatever they want, however uneducated they may be about the subject.
