You will only have one true love in this life. One "soul mate." Sometimes people think they have found the person, but they have not. I thought I found the right person...but he ended up not being my Mr. Right...he was more like a Mr. Almost Right...I think that's what a lot of people end up settling for and then are astounded when they find a "second" soul mate who was their real soul mate to begin with.

I don't know if we truly have soul mates, but regardless of that, I do believe that you can find the love of your life more than once. I found him fourteen years ago and I thought we'd be married. He was "the one". We were both young and we messed up our relationship. I found someone else who was "the one" again about ten years ago and we've been married for over six years now. I still care about my first love very deeply and he will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm not sure why you're asking, but I wish you the best of luck.

What are the odds of finding the love of your life twice? 100%
I don't believe in "soul mates"- it seems kind of silly to think there's one perfect person only for you and you can't have a full happy life unless you sift through the 6 Billion people in the world to find him/her.
Relationships are made up of many things; being "soul mates" doesn't figure very high on my list. Maturity, commitment, compatibility, patience, shared values, etc. are much more important.

I believe there are different soul mates for you at different stages of your life. Some people marry and their spouse changes with them as they age. Their soul mate is the same, but is changing in the same direction as they are.
I have made the mistake of thinking I had found my soul mate and married him long ago. We were married (unhappily) for 20 years before divorcing.
I now know that he was never my soul mate. I have actually met my real soul mate and the feelings are impossible to describe. I now know the difference between enjoying someone and loving someone. The soul mate kind of love is so deep and awesome that I cannot describe the difference in it.

You can find it. I have found it 3 times, and will probably find it one more time. Somene who is truely dedicated to you is a wonderful person to have in your life. True love certainly happens with this. I've had 3 special men in my life, and One will always be the strongest memory. Once you can give true love it always seems to find you if you want it. Enjoy.

WOW! thats awesome. But i think there still is only ONE true love even tho I know EXACLTY how you are feeling and you are lucky! Try to choose one, but if you cant, stay friends with both for as long as you can! Or try to find a fault in one, because you cant end up marrying both unfortunatly...altho it would be fun! :)

Yes you can find love twice... even 5,6,7 times. I wouldn't rely on the soulmate thing. You might find people who become such a part of you and your life that they are soulmates but you wouldn't know when you met them necessarily.

I had been with a guy once, I know my story isn't as close as you are expecting, but here goes. He was perfect for me, and I was so certain he was "the one". We got split up, and I hadn't heard from him in 2 years, that's a long time for me. I got an e-mail from him, and it's long distant, but it's there again!

There's no such thing as soul mates. You love who you love, when you love them. And yes, there can be more than one.
